Pavlo Pastet Belyansky writes short but insightful stories about life and death through the eyes of a funeral service worker. Pavlo wrote the book after several years of working at a cemetery - he was a co-owner of a monument-making office. Sketches about the living and the dead, about incredible love and unbearable pettiness, insults and forgiveness do not leave anyone indifferent. The filigree style, sincerity, realism of the story do not let the reader go until the last page. The collection is based on the film I work in the cemetery, the script for which was also written by Belyansky. Now Pavlo Pate is fighting in one of the brigades of the Armed Forces as a senior rifleman of an assault company.
