The University of Wrocław has served as an important centre of learning, practicing, and teaching archaeology for more than two centuries. This volume offers a comprehensive insight into the last eighty years of its archaeological endeavors-from the turbulent early postwar period, when the faculty undertook the urgent task of recovering and reorganizing the dispersed museum collections, to the present day, marked by cutting-edge, often interdisciplinary research informed by the latest developments in natural sciences.
